Professions in Blockgame are the key to building your character’s unique skills and style. As you complete different tasks and challenges, your chosen profession levels up, adding depth to your character and making gameplay more rewarding. Each action you take—whether crafting, gathering, or completing quests — adds to your skill growth and shapes your Blockgame journey.

Professions in Blockgame serve as the backbone of character development, representing tradeskills that evolve as players engage in diverse tasks. These skills are pivotal to your in-game progress, influencing daily activities and gameplay. As you undertake various actions, your chosen profession advances, underscoring its significance in shaping your virtual experience. Every action you take contributes to the advancement of a particular skill, and the growth of your Character, making professions a fundamental aspect of your Blockgame journey.
An easy way to earn Profession EXP is by completing Daily Quests from NPCs like Archaeologist Mortimer, Fisherman Baelin, and Botanist Mint. These quests are a reliable way to boost your skills while exploring the world and taking on new adventures.

Moreover, in BlockGame, unlike Vanilla Minecraft, specific blocks require a designated tier of Tools for efficient breaking. The significance of professions becomes even more apparent as different blocks yield varying amounts of EXP.
With a profession cap of Level 100, there’s plenty of room to progress and master your chosen path.

A reliable source of Profession EXP is through quests, such as the Daily Quests offered by Mayor McCheese. Engaging in these quests not only contributes to your character's overall development but also ensures a steady progression in your chosen profession, offering a well-rounded Blockgame experience.

Gathering Professions
Archaeology
Gathering professions focus on mining, harvesting, catching or hunting resources scattered throughout Myrkheim. Each gathering profession requires a specific tool to collect resources; using these tools to left-click on a resource initiates the gathering process.

Explore the mysteries of BlockGame with Archaeology, a profession dedicated to excavation. Dig in specific materials to gain Archaeology EXP. Higher levels increase your chances of uncovering rare Materials. Seek out Archaeologist Indy in Origin for essential tools and advice.

Crafting professions are skill paths focused on creating various items. Each crafting profession has corresponding Vendors located in Origin who provide access to profession-specific crafting stations. Crafting items within these professions grants XP, and leveling up a crafting profession unlocks higher-level recipes.

Fishing
The three available crafting professions are:

Cast your line into the diverse waters of BlockGame through the Fishing profession. Accumulate Fishing EXP by fishing in various Waters. Higher Fishing levels enhance your prospects of discovering rare Materials and Items. Find quality fishing gear at Fisherman Franky in Origin.

Level Scaling Overview
Herbalism
The level scaling system determines the experience points (EXP) required to advance from one profession level to the next. As players progress, the XP needed increases gradually.

Immerse yourself in the greenery of BlockGame with Herbalism, a profession focused on crop harvesting and vegetation collection. Reap crops and gather herbs to earn Herbalism EXP. Higher levels increase your chances of finding rare Materials and Items. Visit Botanist Hesha in Origin for all your agricultural needs.

The only way to obtain Herbalism EXP is by breaking fully grown Crops and Plants. Replanting, Tilling, or removing non-fully grown Crops will not grant EXP.

An easy way to earn Profession EXP is by completing Daily Quests from NPCs like Archaeologist Mortimer, Fisherman Baelin, and Botanist Mint. These quests are a reliable way to boost your skills while exploring the world and taking on new adventures.

With a profession cap of Level 100, there’s plenty of room to progress and master your chosen path.

Gathering Professions

Gathering professions focus on mining, harvesting, catching or hunting resources scattered throughout Myrkheim. Each gathering profession requires a specific tool to collect resources; using these tools to left-click on a resource initiates the gathering process.

Currently, there are six gathering professions:

Profession Tool Resource Examples NPC Stat increase

 • +0.1% 🗡 Critical Chance / Lv
Fishing Fishing Rod
Tackle Box
 • +0.1% ⏳ Cooldown Reduction / Lv
Herbalism Hoe

 • +0.1% ❤ Healing Received / Lv
Hunting
 • +0.1% 🗡 Backstab Damage / Lv

Crafting Professions

Crafting professions are skill paths focused on creating various items. Each crafting profession has corresponding Vendors located in Origin who provide access to profession-specific crafting stations. Crafting items within these professions grants XP, and leveling up a crafting profession unlocks higher-level recipes.

The three available crafting professions are:

Profession Crafted Items NPC Stat increase
Runecarving Runes
 • +1 ⛨ Defense / Lv
Cooking Food
 • -0.2% 🍖 Hunger / Lv
Alchemy Potions
 • +0.1% ◎ AEO Size Amplifier / Lv

Level Scaling Overview

The level scaling system determines the experience points (EXP) required to advance from one profession level to the next. As players progress, the XP needed increases gradually.

Base Level EXP EXP Scalar
2500 1.1

Experience required = ((PreviousRequiredEXP+BaseLevelEXP)*EXPScalar)
