Iron Ore is a common mineral block that generates frequently in all biomes. Iron Ore also generates in Ore Veins comprised of itself and Tuff.

Deepslate Iron Ore is a variant of Iron Ore that can generate in the deepslate layer.

Obtaining

Both variants of Iron Ore drop Raw Iron when mined, or themselves if mined with a Fragile Pickaxe.

Usage

The Deepslate variant of Iron Ore.

The Raw Iron obtained from Iron Ore is smelted to obtain Iron Ingots. Iron Ingots are a crucial ingredient in Mythril and Steel Scraps.
