Gold Ore is a common mineral block that generates infrequently in all biomes, generating more frequently in Badlands.

Deepslate Gold Ore is a variant of Gold Ore that can generate in the deepslate layer.

Obtaining

Both variants of Gold Ore drop Raw Gold when mined, or themselves if mined with a Fragile Pickaxe.

The Raw Gold obtained from Gold Ore is smelted to obtain Gold Ingots. Gold Ingots are used in every tier of Runecarving Armor.
