To further customize and optimize your Armor, most of them come with one or more Rune Slots. These slots allow you to inscribe powerful Runes, enhancing the performance of your Armor.
Corrupted Armor
Armor can drop as Corrupted Armor, offering a viable alternative to normal crafted Armor. Corrupted weapon comes with the 'Curse of Butterfingers', meaning that upon the player's death, the gear will be dropped at the location of death. Additionally, Corrupted Armor reduces Damage Reduction, resulting in more incoming damage from all sources. While this consequence may appear overly harsh, Corrupted Armor can roll with uncommon stats for their Gear Class and are easily acquired making it a valuable commodity.

Armor Prefix / Sufix
Occasionally, when crafting Armor or encountering Corrupted Armor, they may come with a prefix or sufix such as "Sturdy". These prefixes/sufixes indicate that you've had a stroke of luck and acquired a slightly enhanced version of the base Armor.
