Obsidian
Obsidian is a solid block created when water flows onto lava source blocks. It can also generate naturally as a part of Ruined Portals. Obsidian is vital when creating portals to travel between Midgard and Myrkheim.

Obtaining
Obsidian may only be obtained as an item with a Tier 4 or higher Pickaxe. It can be pseudo-placed using Lava Buckets and Water Buckets.
Usage
Obsidian is required to construct a Nether Portal, which provides a way to travel between specific locations in Midgard and Myrkheim.
