Obsidian
Obsidian is a solid block that generates naturally as a part of Ruined Portals. Obsidian is vital when creating portals to travel between Midgard and Myrkheim.

Obtaining
Obsidian may only be obtained as an item from Ruined Portal chests and from boss encounters in Dungeons. When broken using a Tier 4 or higher Pickaxe, it will not drop.
Usage
Obsidian is required to construct a Nether Portal, which provides a way to travel between specific locations in Midgard and Myrkheim. Because it cannot drop once placed, players must be careful when constructing portals.
