The Bounty System allows players to post, contribute to, and claim bounties on other players. Anyone can place a bounty on any other player, with the exception of [Admin] players.

All bounty listings are funded with the player's Balance.

How Bounties Work

The Bounty Board UI, displaying all currently active bounties.

Bounties can be set on valid players by using /bounty [Player Name] [Amount] to specify the player you want the bounty placed on, and the amount you wish to spend on the bounty. Note that when placing a bounty, a 20% transaction fee is deducted from the bounty value you set. For example, if you were to set a bounty of 100 coin, on a player the actual bounty reward for killing the target would be 80 coin. 100 coin will still be deducted from your balance.

You can view all active bounties by typing /bounty or /bounties to open the Bounty Board, with bounties listed oldest to newest. Using /bounty [Player Name] allows you to view the current bounty total on a specific player.

Hovering over the player head on the bottom row will display all bounties active on you, the number of bounties you've claimed, and your 'Head Collection' total. The latter statistic appears to be working correctly, however player heads do not currently drop.

When a bounty is claimed, the total value of the bounty will be transferred directly into the claimant's balance. Note that players with active contributions to bounties cannot claim the bounty for themselves in any way.

Multiple bounties can be set on the same player. One individual could set a bounty with a reward of 80 coin, and another could set a bounty with a reward of 140 coin giving a total bounty of 220 coin. When this bounty is claimed, the player claiming it receives the total bounty set on the player.

Bounties will never automatically expire, and will only disappear if claimed or manually removed by the player who originally listed the bounty. When and if someone removes their contribution to a bounty, it will only remove their contribution. Any other active contributions will remain and are able to be claimed.

Important Exceptions

Players may choose to remain at the [Potato] rank in some cases. This prevents bounties being placed on them, and they may not set bounties on other players. They can however claim bounties. This is intentional and allows players who wish to avoid the bounty system an option to do so, at the cost of the perks granted by the rank system.

In some cases, players might get the bright idea to ask a friend, town member, or nation member to claim a bounty placed on them before someone else can, occasionally proposing they split the bounty. DO NOT DO THIS. It is considered an exploit and thus in violation of Rule 3, and you will be penalized for this behavior.
