Leaves are natural blocks that generate as part of trees. Despite being a full block, they can be waterlogged.

Obtaining
Leaves occur naturally on trees throughout Midgard and Myrkheim.
They can only be obtained by breaking them manually. Felling the stem will cause the leaves to despawn.
Leaves can be harvested without using any tools, but some tools do provide advantages. Hoes will break leaves faster, and instantly at Tier 3 or higher. Shears are able to instantly break leaves but break quickly, cannot be repaired, and have low durability. Axes increase your logging skill level and xp gain but do not inherently provide a mining speed increase and are thus not recommended for breaking leaves. Leaves have a very low base xp, and logging skill levels can be compensated for by applying Runes to an appropriate Hoe.
Usage
Leaves come in ten varieties, each corresponding to a different tree type: oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, azalea, flowering azalea, and cherry.
Breaking Leaves has a chance to yield sticks, saplings, a placeable leaf block, and fruit.
