The Bazaar is a Realm branching off from Yggdrasil that houses player-owned shops. These shops are located on plots, each of which can be claimed as an outpost through Towns. The only structures in The Bazaar that remain constant are its streets, as players are free to modify the structures on their plots as they see fit.

How to Navigate The Bazaar

A map of The Bazaar's plots generated by Towny.
'O' stands for claimed Outposts

The Bazaar is arranged in a 9x9 grid, with a total of 81 plots. Players spawn at the southwest intersection, facing north. From there, you are free to browse the shops. To check which town owns a particular plot, you can walk over the plot or use /towny map big to view a map of plots in chat. Hovering over a plot on the map will reveal its owner and the claim date.

How to use shops

Player shops in Blockgame are managed by the QuickShop plugin.

For detailed instructions on how to use and create shops, refer to the Chest Shops page.

How to claim a plot

Since Bazaar plots are managed by Towns, you must be the mayor of a town or a trusted member of one to claim a plot in The Bazaar. To claim a plot, your town's balance must meet or exceed 2500 coins. Once you've ensured this, you can claim a plot by standing on it and typing /towny claim outpost.

If a plot is already owned by another town, you have a few options: you can request permission from the current owner to be trusted on the plot, allowing you to place your own chest shops, or you can negotiate a deal to purchase the plot from the current owner for an agreed-upon amount.

Occasionally, you might find a Bazaar plot owned by a town on the brink of going into ruin - which occurs when a town’s balance falls below a certain threshold. Once a town falls into ruin, any plots it owns, including those in The Bazaar, become open to the public for looting and griefing, including any active chest shops. Seventy-two hours after the town goes into ruin, all of its plots, including those in The Bazaar, will reset. This provides an opportunity for players to claim these plots, so watch carefully if you're interested in acquiring one.
