Player PirateSoftware, Class:Einherjar

In Blockgame, classes are defined solely by the combination of stats you choose and the armor and weapons you equip. Unlike traditional role-playing games, there is no conventional process for selecting a predefined class.

The traditional roles of Damage Dealer (Warrior, Ranger, Wizard), Tank (Guardian), and Healer (Thaumaturge) still exist in Blockgame, but these roles depend on your selection of Talents, armor, and weapons. This flexibility allows you to mix and match aspects of different classes to create the perfect loadout for any situation.

While Professions could be classified as "classes" in some respects, here we will focus solely on combat-related classes. If you're interested in professions like Mining, Alchemy, or Herbalism, make sure to check out the Professions article for more details.

Einherjar

Every player's class is "Einherjar"[1], a versatile warrior class. By allocating talent points and selecting your armor and weapons, you can customize your playstyle and combat approach. This "class" allows you to tailor your abilities and attributes to suit different types of encounters.

Your class, as displayed in the Profile Menu via the /profile command, will always remain "Einherjar". Even if you reallocate your talent points using /stats or swap your equipped weapons and armor, the displayed class does not change.

Holy Trinity

The roles of Damage Dealer, Tank, and Healer are commonly referred to as the "Holy Trinity"[2] in MMORPG group composition. While these roles do exist in Blockgame, they are more fluid and exist on a spectrum rather than being strictly defined.

For example, you could allocate all your talent points to predominantly Wizard-focused talents, such as "Intelligence" and use Spells like Firebolt and Frostbolt but equip a full set of Guardian Armor to enhance your health and defense. This combination allows you to create a hybrid playstyle that suits your preferences, blending offensive magic abilities with defensive resilience. Blockgame gives players the flexibility to customize their roles based on the talents, weapons, and armor they choose, allowing for unique approaches to combat.
